Kalyan: About 25 Yuva Sena workers, led by Shiv Sena, from Kalyan-Dombivli joined the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in front of Kalyan District President NCP Vandar Patil in Kalyan.
Join Yuva Sena workers in NCP ahead of the KDMC election show that parties, although in alliances in the state, are still at each other at the local level.
Workers Yuva Sena was said to be annoyed with local party leadership in the city where they decided to join NCP after meeting Aditi Tatkare, the Minister of Industry in the state.
Vandar Patil, Kalyan District President told TII, “Workers Yuva Sena wants to join NCP and for the same thing, they first met our senior leader and Aditi Tatkare Minister in Mumbai after that they joined the party in Kalyan on Wednesday.
“Patil said,” By joining Yuva Sena workers, we hope our party will perform better in the upcoming KDMC elections.
” He further said that, “Our relationship with Shiv Sena is strong and this will not affect our relationship in the city.” This step has disturbed Sena Shiv leaders in the city.
Dipesh Mahatre, Yuva Sena Leader from Dombivli said, “NCP has made a mistake by claiming our workers join their party but the reality is that our workers have just left to meet the NCP leaders.
If we (Shiv Sena) do the same NCP will finished in Kalyan-Dompivli.
