Kolkata: Twice MP Asansol and former Union Minister Babul Supriyo said on social media on Saturday that he stopped from politics.
At the Facebook post, which starts with the word “Alvida”, Supriyo said he “resigned from becoming a member of parliament also (clear)” and will submit the official “house” of the official Delhi in a month.
He left a clear indication that his decision to stop was partly due to his removal as a minister of States and that he had responded to the problem of his resignation with the minister of House of Union Amit Shah and Head of BJP JP Nadda “several times in the last few days”.
