Kanpur: After Shiv Kumar Beria, a former minister at the SP government from Kanpur, joined the Bharatiya Janata (BJP), the party-Pragatatheel Alliance Samajwadi (SP-PSPL) has now experienced another setback at Etawah.raghuraj Singh Shakya, twice SP MP and then Aide near President PSPL Shivpal Singh Yadav, broke the bond with PSPL.
He joined BJP on Monday along with supporters in front of Deputy Chief Minister of Keshav Prasad Maurya in Lucknow.
Raghuraj Singh Shakya, a resident of Etawah, was very close to Shivpal and was at the Vice President of the State Vice President at the party.
Raghuraj Singh Shakya was selected MP twice in 1999 and 2004 on SP tickets.
In 2012 it also became MLA with the election of assembly from a conscious seat on SP tickets.
This time it was also preparing the election of the conscious seat Etawah.
After SP-PSPL Aliance, he claimed the ticket.
SP, however, Fielded Sarvesh Shakya, son of former MP Ram Singh Shakya from the conscious seat Etawah.
On January 27, 2017, Raghuraj Singh Shakya has resigned from his position believing that Mulayam Singh Yadav was insulted in a family dispute.
