Ghaziabad: Two brothers, aged 13, died after falling from the balcony of their 25th-floor flat in a housing society in Vijay Nagar Ghaziabad.
A small stool was found on top of a plastic chair near the fence.
The twins have repeatedly said they want to see the moon, their mother said.
The accident is believed to have occurred at 1 am Sunday.
Police said Satya Narayan and Surya Narayan Mudalia had gone to the balcony of their flat in Gardenia Prateek Carnesia after dinner.
11:30 am Saturday, their mother, Radha, to see them play with mobile phones given to them for an online class and ask them to come with him to another room and sleep.

Radha rushed down and saw Surya and Satya lie just meters apart, the blood pouring out of their heads.
They were rushed to a nearby hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The brothers lived with their mother and sister Gayatri.
Their father, Palani Mudalia, is a senior executive in a private finance company and has worked from Mumbai for a couple of weeks.

Radha told TOI that her husband had called about 11 and asked about the children.
“We finished our dinner around 09:30.
They rushed into the study (which has a balcony) and my daughter and I were watching TV.
Around 11:30 pm, I went to the balcony and they said they wanted to see the moon.
But I took them with me to sleep, “he said.
“About an hour later, I woke up and saw that they were not in bed.
I rushed to the balcony.

I looked down and saw the crowd, “he added.
A guard who was on duty at night said he heard two loud thuds, 15-20 seconds apart.
“There were two boys lying face down.
There was blood all around.
I told my boss, “he added.
Mahipal Singh, circle officer 1 of Ghaziabad, said, “We found a plastic chair with a bench in it near the fence.
There is a possibility that the two boys had been peering over the fence and try to look at the moon.
Their mother told us that they want to see.
They have brought the stool from the kitchen.
” Police are also trying to find out whether the two have been trying to impose something that they’ve seen on a phone.
“They have taken two of the phone and said they would learn.
We checked the device, but we did not find anything in history.
We will send you the phone for the technical team, “said Singh.
