San Francisco: Twitter shook the top ranking from his security team this week with the termination of the Head of Security and out of the Head of Security Information Officer (CISO), the company told employees on Wednesday, as a new CEO of Agragal forces social media services.
Piter Zatko, Head of Security, is no longer in the company, Twitter is confirmed.
Ciso Rinki Setyhi will depart in the coming weeks.
Changes followed “assessing how led organizations and impacts on top priority work,” according to the Memo from the agrawal sent to employees on Wednesday and obtained by NYT.
Agrawal said the “nature of this situation” limits what is allowed to be distributed to employees.
Sethi and Zatko did not immediately respond to a request for comments.
Agrawal, which was appointed as Twitter CEO in November, has shaken the company’s executive since taking over from Jack Dorsey, a founder.
In December, agrawal ran the leadership team and rejected Dantley Davis, head of the main design, and Michael Montano, head of the engineering.
Zatko and Sethi joined Twitter at the end of 2020.
Setyhi was previously an information security VP at IBM and has worked in security atit and Walmart.
