Twitter name Vinay Prakash as a resident complaint officer

New Delhi: Twitter has named Vinay Prakash as a resident complaint officer for India, according to the company’s website.
The US-based company has oversee storms for alleged failure to comply with its new rules in India, whose mandates, among other requirements, the appointment of three main personnel – Compliance heads, Nodal officers and complaints of officers by social media platforms with more than 50 users of Lakh , All three personnel must be residents in India.
According to the information that was updated on the Twitter website, Vinay Prakash was a resident complaint (RGGE).
Users can contact them using an email ID listed on the page.

Prakash’s name appears together with Jeremy Kessel, which is the director of global legal policy, and is based in the US.
The company has also published its compliance report for the period of May 26, 2021, until June 25, 2021.
These are other key requirements under the IT rules that come into force on May 26.
Twitter previously appointed Dharmendra Chatur as a temporary resident.

The government has faced Twitter for disobedience and intentional failure to obey the new rules, even though recurring reminders.
