New Delhi: A week after suspending his account, Twitter restored the leader of the Rahul Gandhi congress on Saturday.
Rahul Gandhi’s account for a while was suspended last week after he tweeted a photo of a nine-year-old victim’s family of the alleged rape and murder in Northwest Delhi.
According to Twitter, the post violates the rules.
“Twitter account Rahul Gandhi has been opened,” said a party official, adding a few leaders’ accounts has also been restored.
The former Head of Congress has made a strong explosion on Friday accusing Twitter “disrupting the national political process” and said turning off the handle of “attack on the structure of the country’s democracy”.
Gandhi, in the Youtube Video statement titled “Twitter Hazardous Game”, accused the neutral and objective platform and “beholdden to the government”.
Questioning Twitter’s actions, Gandhi said the company denied millions of his true followers became opinions, which were unfair.
“It’s clear that Twitter is actually not a neutral objective platform.
This is a biased platform.
It was something that listened to what the government said that day,” alleged Gandhi.
