New Delhi: Twitter is trapped in another controversy in India because it creates political securities close to showing Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh as a separate country.
This step occurred at a time when PM Narendra Modi had begun involvement with political parties in J & K for almost two years after the J & K bifurkasi to the United States and the revocation of status specifically based on article 370.
Not faster than the mistake than it creates a commotion , and see the company – which has been involved in a series of disputes with the Indian government in recent months – quietly pulling the map when closing the day.
Errors have appeared in the Twitter website career part under the ‘Life Tweep’ header.
This is the third time in recent months when the company has displayed the wrong Indian map on its platform.
In October last year, it has shown Leh as part of China, which has seen angered reaction from IT and law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad before the error was corrected.
India has also issued a hard warning to Twitter.
But in November 2020, Twitter returned to notice by the government to show Leh as part of J & K, instead of UT from Ladakh.
It is hoped that the IT ministry can issue a notification of showcuses to companies for new violations, and can also recommend actions.
In its part, Twitter officials did not answer questions about this problem.
