Twitter will be in trouble if it fails to comply with new rules: HC

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Tuesday expressed displeasure rather than Twitter delaying the appointment of complaints recovery officers.
Slamming a micro blogging site, Judge Rekha Palli asks, “How long is your process (Twitter)?” He also said, “If Twitter thinks it can take time as long as what you want in our country, I will not let it.
Respond to a clear response, otherwise you will be in trouble.” The next court stated that Twitter was challenging law because it did not appoint a complaint officer as required under the new rules.
It directs social sites to be informed on July 8 such as when the resident complaint officer will be appointed.
In other developments, the government said in submitting a court that Twitter Inc.
no longer enjoyed the responsibility for the content produced by users in India because social sites have failed to comply with new IT rules.

The first time has officially said Twitter has lost its immunity after repeatedly criticizing the company for non-compliance.
