MADURAI: The Madurai city authorities have detained two men for running a prostitution racket in a private resort in Mattuthavani.
The accused have been identified as Babur John, 28, of Bengaluru and N Surya, 22, of Ayappan Nagar at Iyer Bungalow.
According to a tip-off, a police team in the anti-human trafficking wing ran a check in the resort.
The staff rescued a 27-year-old girl, that hails from Bengaluru.
The Pudur authorities registered a case and detained.
