Aizawl: Two people from Assam were arrested with Tablet Meth worth 10 crore from near Aizaxl in Mizoram, police said on Friday.
Mantu Kumar Deb (45) and Subash Das (33), both residents of Karimganj District Assam, were arrested on Thursday night near the village of Sairang, about 20 km from Aizawl, they said.
Their truck was intercepted during a random inspection of vehicles and 50kg metis tablets found in it, police said.
A case was submitted under the relevant sections of narcotics narcotics and psychotropic substances, 1985, they said.
Further investigations are underway, police said.
