Two B’luru students sank in the waterfall

Mandya: Two students from Bengaluru allegedly sank at the Cauvery River at Ganalu Waterfall in the Muttati District of Mandya District.
The deceased was Shamwell, 21 and Sybil, 22, the resident of Ms.
Palya in Bengaluru.
They were said to be sinking on Saturday, and the incident was revealed on Sunday.
Before reaching Ganalu waterfall, they have visited Gaganachukki waterfalls and other tourist attractions in the region.
On Sunday, a suspicious forest observer about the bicycle parked for two days deep in the forest, with no one around.
He then saw the bodies of the victims at the bottom of the waterfall.
The Halagur Police Station Siuti Tammannanavar rushed to the place and provoked the bodies from a deep canyon.
The police suspected the victims may have met with a juicy grave while trying to take a selfie in the waterfall or not tucked into the river.
“However, we cannot confirm whether the victims fell while taking a selfie because no one was present when the incident happened,” said a police officer.
The case has been registered at the Halagur Police Station.
