Gurgaon: The official team of Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) was stopped from carrying out their duties and was attacked in the village of Aliyar Maniard on Wednesday.
Officials have gone to the village to decide on a home supply for non-payment of electricity bills for 15 months.
Two family members have been ordered in this case.
The electricity contribution of Bijender Singh has reached Rs 52,049 because he did not pay a penny in the last 15 months.
A team from DHBVN has visited his house last week to remind him to clean his contribution to the termination of the face.
When Singh failed to clean the contribution, a team reached his house to decide the supply.
However, Singh’s family members did not allow officials to check the meter or disconnect the supply.
Allegedly one of the family members arrested the collar Mamraj Singh, one of the officials, and began to harass him.
“I told them that I was from the government department and here to do my job to remove meters for non-payment of contributions, but they began to hit me by road,” Singh said.
According to the police, the official was beaten with sticks and iron roads and the defendant locked the door of the house from inside and threatened terrible consequential officials if they returned.
Based on Mamraj complaints, a registered case against two family members under the relevant part of the IPC at the Sector Police Office 7, Imt Manesar.
