Coimbatore: Two sons sank at a stone mine filled with water in Golden Tirupur Nagar on Wednesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Sathya, 13 and Kumaran, 11.
They studied at a government school.
Male children have told their parents and went to the stone mine near their home to catch fish.
When a boy did not return after dark, their parents and neighbors began to look for them.
About half an hour later, they found the cycle and clothing of boys outside the mine.
They told the Department of Fire and Rescue Service, whose personnel entered water and fishing.
Tirupur North police registered a case.
