Palanpur: Two sons drowned in the Dam checks built on the Banas River under a small Irrigation plan Balram near Dharpura-Virampam under the jurisdiction of the Amirgadh police station on Thursday night.
The deceased was identified as Ashok Dabhi (15) and Suresh Dabhi (12), residents of Dharpura-Virlam Village.
According to the police, a boy was playing near the Dam check when they slipped and fell into the water and sank.
The body has been lured by local swimmers.
The case of unintentional death was registered at the Amirgadh police station.
The body of the two boys was taken to the Virlam Community Health Center and was then assigned to their family members after postmortem, said H L Patel, police station Amirgadh Sub-Inspector Police.
