Noida: On the day of children, Police Noida launched two cellular education vans for children who could not go to school.
Van is equipped with books, LCD screens, sound systems, CCTV cameras, and sanitization facilities.
Every vehicle will reach 50-60 children regularly with support from the local police station in a predetermined place.
This step is taken under the initiative “Nanhe Parde”, supported by Chetna NGOs and HCl Foundation.
Earlier this year, two vans under the same initiative were launched in January.
The police said that in this initiative so far, 108 children outside the school have been brought into the fold of the education system, where 69 other students have been registered in local schools while others take online classes under the open base education category.
Alok Singh, Police Commissioner, GB Nagar, said that they found that this initiative had changed children in the educational environment and they were more confident now.
“This effort will protect children from slipping into the conflict with the law and will further empower them to build their dreams and contribute to the nation’s development agenda.
Children and youth are the future of our country and together we need to maintain and Supports their hidden talents from an early age to help them become responsible citizens, “he said.
Nidhi Pundir, Director, HCL Foundation, said the success of the programs in the first phase encouraged us to expand initiatives by adding two new cellular education and mobile protection vans.
Seeing children who are not fulfilled from poorly served communities, help them part of the mainstream, with maximum dignity.
Sanjay Gupta, Director of Chetna NGO said that we had designed this education van taking into account all the main needs of children connected with the road.
Van-van is equipped with a Covid prevention protocol, security camera, seating, nutrition, stationery to provide quality education to children.
