Two Children diagnosed Using MIS-C in Bihar

PATNA: There appears to be no respite from post-Covid complications however.
An increase in cases of multisystem inflammatory syndrome in kids (MIS-C) in regions of north west India has stressed parents too.
Experts have suggested parents to stay attentive, particularly when children or anybody in the household have regained from Covid-19.
Noted paediatrician and former leader of paediatrics department in Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) Dr Nigam Prakash Narain stated he’s managed at least two cases this week.
“It’s a 10-year-old boy out of Khagaria and yet another 11-month-old infant from Patna,” Dr Nigam explained, including parents should stay on guard for six to eight months following a child or anyone in near touch of their child borrows from Covid.

At 100 MIS-C instances are listed in Delhi-NCR this week and several cases also have been documented in Jharkhand at the past few days.
