Sindri: Two babies, three and six-year-old, were tested positive for Covid-19 in Dhanbad on Friday.
Children were accepted at Shahid Nirmal Mahto Medical College and Hospital (Snmmch) along with their mother, who was not infected.
The hospital source said a 6-year-old girl and resident of the Rajanjnya area arrived at Snmmch along with his parents for treatment.
In accordance with the Covid protocol, they are asked to test themselves for viruses before treatment.
When the girl underwent a RT-PCR test, she turned out to be positive but her mother was negative.
The girl was immediately treated at the PG Hospital block.
In another case, a three-year-old boy was tested positive with his father, a CISF Jawan.
The hospital source said the family arrived from Telangana.
According to the norms, the family was asked to live in quarantine for seven days after that they had to undergo testing.
When their report returned on Friday, both father and son were tested positive while the mother was negative.
Children with his mother had been treated in a pediatric ward while the Father had been treated in a separate ward.
