BERHAMPUR: The Ganjam district government has made a decision to shut two from the five committed Covid health centers in Berhampur in Monday.
The decision has been taken because of drop in quantity of Covid patients.
“The Covid gym at City Hospital and also Meenakhi Nagara is going to be shut,” Ganjam district collector Vijay Amruta Kulange stated.
Covid patients will not be admitted in both of these hospitals in Thursday.
City Hospital has been turned to some Covid care center on April 29 when instances jumped from the district.
The hospital has 100 beds, such as 25 for elderly girl who test positive for Covid.
“After the authorities dictate, Covid patients who had been undergoing treatment here are known to other doctors.
Just five patients had been undergoing treatment from the hospital Wednesday.
While one of these had been discharged after restoration, the remainder have been known to other associations,” explained Prasant Kumar Patra, manager of their covid care facility at City Hospital.
“Before City Hospital begins re-admitting overall sufferers, comprehensive sanitization and cleanup will be performed while the tools that was eliminated will be set up,” Patra stated.
He, however, stated the psychologist clinic will work to learn symptomatic patients.
Kulange stated they’d update City Hospital and three additional sub-divisional hospitals in Aska, Bhanjanagar along with Chhatrapur and set up liquid oxygen storage container, which had been recently installed in MKCG Medical College and Hospital here.
The district collector stated flow of Covid patients into the hospital has diminished, they’d shortly have a decision to shut two additional Covid hospitals at Berhampur along with different places.
While five Covid health centers were installed in Berhampur, comparable centers were set up in Aska, Bhanjanagar, Hinjili, Chhatrapur along with Patrapur regions.
