FAIRFIELD TOWNSHIP: At least 2 individuals were killed and 12 other people were injured in a shooting in a South Jersey home celebration, state authorities said. New Jersey State Police reported a 30-year-old guy and 25-year-old-woman were shot. There were 12 additional folks that have been wounded and transported to hospitals. Officials said authorities responded to a home at Fairfield Township, about one hour out of Philadelphia, late Saturday night. 6ABC reports that authorities said that it had been celebration with a few hundred individuals. Aerial footage reveals debris across the house’s lawn. John Fuqua, that conducts a neighborhood anti-violence organization named Life Worth Living, stated he had been known for Saturday night to aid families. He said that the shooting occurred in a 90s-themed celebration where guests ranged from teens to elderly citizens. Fairfield Township Mayor Benjamin Byrd Sr., that had been in the scene Sunday afternoon, stated that New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy provided his assistance and aid. “nobody knows if somebody’s going to come from these woods with a weapon,” Byrd stated. He didn’t have any information regarding the shooting. Messages seeking additional data have been abandoned with state authorities and the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office.
