Noida: Two construction workers died and two others were injured after the lower wall of the construction collapsed in sector 26 on Tuesday, police said.
Property, added police, owned by an assistant commissioner of police officers from Delhi.
Officers in the sector 20 police stations said at around 12:30 a.m.
they received a call that four people suffered injuries after the wall of underground building collapsed to them.
“A team rushed to place.
It was found that the property belonged to ACP Delhi Anand Sagar,” the officer said.
ACP allegedly employed a contractor, Mustakim (40), which has appointed four workers for home construction.
“The four men worked in the basement of the house when the wall suddenly collapsed, burying them under debris.
They rushed to a private hospital nearby where they were both declared died on arrival by the hospital authority,” the officer said .
The deceased has been identified as Bharat Patel (50), a native of Chhattisgarh, and Pushpa Bai (35), from Bihar.
Maya (30) and Rameshwari (31), each of which came from Bihar and Chhattisgarh, a sustainable injury in the incident and is currently stable.
According to the police, the managed contractor fled.
“We have not received complaints in this issue.
We will register a case against the contractor on charges of death due to negligence so little submitted.
The body has been sent for post-mortem and the medical report is awaited,” he added.
