The police said to clean the liquid waste trapped at the bottom, both of them had to enter the tank.
First, Baldir climbed tanks and lost consciousness after inhaling toxic gases.
When he did not respond to recurring calls, Pradeep decided to step in and meet with the same fate.
Both were finally pulled out and rushed to a private hospital in sector 10, where the doctor said they died on arrival.
“The body has been sent to a government hospital for post-mortem, and this problem was examined by the police sector 14.
Their families above have been informed and we are waiting for them to come.
The necessary actions will be taken,” said a police officer.
State President of the Municipal Union, Haryana, Naresh Kumar Shastri said that despite the ban on the Supreme Court on a manual scavery, “his business is rampant and takes place under the government’s nose”.
“There are hundreds of sanitation workers in Faridabad who work under private contractors.
