New Delhi: Four people, including two doctors who worked in AIIM here, were injured during a fight in Gautam Nagar Delhi Selatan, police said on Thursday.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, they said.
According to the police, several doctors from the Institute of Medical Sciences India (AIIM) went to the store Bhagat Singh Verma Paranthe Walla in Gautam Nagar and allegedly consuming alcohol there.
“The heated argument breaks between doctors and shopkeepers after the two sides are suspected of attacking each other,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Atul Kumar Thakur.
Two doctors and shopkeepers Bhagat Singh Verma and his son Abhishek constantly suffered an injury in the incident, police said.
The statement of the two parties being recorded and legal action will be taken, DCP said.
Police said doctors had visited the shop before too.
