PATNA: The Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) Established two electric buses in the Bankipore depot on Phulwarisharif and Patna City on Thursday.
Based upon the space covered, the cheapest fare the passengers paid was Rs 10 and the maximum was 60.
While the initial bus had four stoppages in Patna Junction, Anisabad, Phulwarisharif and India Institute of Medical Sciences, another one stopped in Patna Junction, Rajendra Nagar, Dhunki Mor, Zero Mile, Tent City and also Patna Sahib gurdwara.
The regional director of this BSRTC, Arvind Kumar Singh, told this paper that two buses, one each about the Phulwarisharif and Patna City paths, would shortly be rolled outside.
Transportation secretary, Sanjay Kumar Agarwal, asserted the 25 e-buses would ply on Patna’s streets by June-end.
“We will raise the amount of all e-buses on each path to control the amount of contamination,” he added.
