Kannauj: Two girls allegedly held hostage and gangraped in a cyber cafe in this district when they went to get some photocopied documents, said the police on Monday.
Four men became hostages of the students of two girls in the cafe on September 13 and one of the defendants also recorded the action, police said.
The defendant also extorted the 10,000 Rs of the girls, threatening to circulate the video.
Prashant Versal police supervisor said a case was registered in conscious Kotwali on Sunday against six people, including a woman, based on complaints of one of the girls.
The 17-year-old student in his complaint said he had gone to Cyber ​​Cafe along with his friend during the day on September 13 when four people were there, raped them.
One defendant also made a video from ACT and handed it to his brother-in-law which extorted Rs 10,000 by threatening to make him viral, police said.
The girl said she and her friend stole money from their home to give it to the defendant, police said.
It was the missing money that warned their family members after that the incident was revealed, they said.
Girls have been sent to the district hospital for medical examinations.
The police rob all possible places, SP said, adding initial investigations, the police have found signs of prostitution from the cafe.
The victim has said that after the incident, the wife of one of the defendants made her phone call pressing her to prostitution and some neighbors also talked about the presence of young girls there, he added.
SP’s efforts said they would accuse being accused.
