Patna: Two people were arrested at the end of Tuesday night because of their alleged involvement in the murder of Avanish Kumar Singh (26) for Solemnist love marriage with Co-Villager Pooja (22) at the Delhi Court in 2018 after marriage to run from Motihari.
Puja has named 12 family members, including Father and Uncle Arvind Singh aka Guddu Singh (50) and Jitendra Singh (48), in FIR in this relationship.
The police arrested Arvind and Jitendra from Sathaura Village under the police post from the Jitna Police from the Ghorasahan police station in the East Champaran.
The special investigation team (sitting) has formed under Srahna Sdpo Rajesh Kumar to capture the other accused.
In accordance with the police, Puja often visits posts that are considered responsibly, capturing the threat to the lives of their parents.
More than 15 people, including Puja Pastor Manoj Singh aka ManoRanjan Singh, a former service, has broken through Avanish’s house at around 6:30 a.m.
on Monday and killed him.
In accordance with the police, Avanish has locked himself in the room but a Puja family member dragged him after breaking the door and shooting him twice on his head.
Jitna Outpost In-Charge Anil Kumar said the Puja’s father shot Avanish Dead using his licensed pistol.
He said they also tried to strangle the puja and kidnap him, but failed.
His family even tried to take the couple’s eight months old girl, but he was thrown down the bed in the middle of a fight.
Kumar said Puja Premchand Singh’s father-in-law and his wife were brutally attacked with iron rods and wooden sticks after they killed Avanish.
“Three empty cartridges are restored from the place.” Puja told us on several occasions that he captured the threat from his family members.
The police were also sent to his house, “he said.” The Puja family has not received his marriage even though the young man belongs to their caste.
The couple used to live in Delhi.
But Avanish lost his personal work during a pandemic and they returned home on July 5 this year, “he said.
