NEW DELHI: Two men were detained for allegedly robbing a Gujarat-based guy of Rs 90,000 if he, together with his son, was coming from a hospital in which his son had been approved for Covid-19, authorities said Wednesday. The episode occurred in south Delhi’s Saket region, they stated. The accused have been identified since Suraj (26) and P Rohit (26), both inhabitants of Ambedkar Nagar, authorities said. On Monday, a Ravi Srivastava, who’s a resident of Ahmedabad in Gujarat and currently staying in sheraton resort, Saket, lodged a complaint in Saket police station, the authorities said. He explained that on May 20he, together with his daughter, was coming in his automobile to the resort in the hospital. Approximately 9.45 pm, once he attained DIPSAR faculty at MB Road towards Mehrauli, two guys arrived on a bike and advised me the stocking of his vehicle was punctured, ” a senior police officer stated. When he came , the pillion rider took off his kid’s hand-bag comprising two cellular telephones, ATM cards, Aadhar card, Rs 90,000 money, and the robbers fled Madangir, ” he explained. Srivastava’s child is coronavirus favorable and confessed into Batra Hospital. He’s on ventilator, authorities said. Through investigation, authorities analysed CCTV cameras close to the place. The accused men were seen on a bike that was with no number plate. Police tracked the two-wheeler near a graveyard, that they stated. On inquiry, it was discovered that the bike was used by Suraj and Rohit, authorities said. “Suraj was detained and one robbed cell telephone, Rs 14,000 and the bike were retrieved from his ownership. He’s approximately 35 instances against him was discharged from prison April 15,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (south west ) Atul Kumar Thakur stated. Suraj revealed that he, together with his partner Rohit, committed the offence. He shot 40,000 and a single cellular from the tote and also Rohit the remaining figure and also an iPhone, authorities said. On his case, Rohit was arrested and also the iPhone and the luggage comprising ATM and Aadhaar cards and other records of the complainant were retrieved from his possession,” he stated.
