Two held to attack youth in shivamogga through video

Shivamogga: A 26-year-old man was attacked and his clothing store was searched by a group of angry men after he allegedly posted a video on the social media platform that showed religion in poor light, in the Shivamogga District last week.
Two people have been detained, the Shivamogga police supervisor BM Laxmi Prasad.
The incident occurred in Shiralkoppa on Thursday.
Disadium at the district development meeting chaired by Shivamogga MP by Raghavendra here on Tuesday.
The source said MP was reported to ask health officials because of the lack of appropriate treatment for the youth who was injured in Shiralkoppa after the incident.
The police said young people posted a video of an activist as his Whatsapp status.
It was witnessed by several men from the city that took the exception for content and rushed to his shop and banged it with questions.
Then, a group of 40 members who strongly attacked young people and searched his shop.
People from neighboring shops rushed in and save the young man.
Because the injured young man could not get treatment at Shiralkoppa Hospital, he was taken to McGann Hospital in Shivamogga, where he was undergoing treatment.
Following the complaints submitted by young people, the police arrested two people on Friday.
