Two held with 7kg marijuana

Thiruvananthapuram: In a big catch, Mangalapuram police on Tuesday arrested two men with almost seven kg of marijuana in their ownership.
The police identified the defendant as Rakesh came from Palakkad and Nithin of Thycaud near Venjaramoodu here.
The police said the two men were arrested from Kalloor Lodge in Mangalapuram on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
Marijuana seized weighed 6.8 kg and found in three packages stored in a backpack.
They told the police that they bought marijuana from Andhra Pradesh and had taken him here for sale among travelers around.
