Letter: Acting on Tip, Special Operations Group (SOG) City Police Letter captured two people with 488 grams of hashish (charas) worth Rs 2.44 lakh and seized their bikes.
The defendant has been identified as Rahul Bukuninath Banka (32), a resident of Swami Gunatin Nagar in Bhatar Road, and Hukamram Narottam (47), a resident of Bath Regency Himachal Pradesh.
Twso accused of being arrested ordered under various parts of narcotics drugs and psychotropic substances, 1985 at the Khatodara Police Station.
“We have specific information that the narcotics are smuggled from Himachal Pradesh to the city of the letter so keep watching near the mangalam flat on Jalan Bhatar on Sunday and catching two people with 488 grams of hashish,” said an official SOG.
“As long as the question, the defendant claimed to have bought the Hashish of the desired three accused of Himachal Pradesh.
Narottam comes to a letter to provide contraband goods to be sold in the local market,” the official added.
The police said that organized rackets were running to smuggle narcotics, especially hashish, into a letter from Himachal Pradesh.
Three months ago, three were accused of being arrested by the city police officer with Hashish 4,684kg.
Investigation of the case revealed that narcotics were brought from Himachal Pradesh.
“The question of the defendant who had been captured in the past also revealed that the racket was being operated from Kullu Regency in Himachal Pradesh,” said the police source.
