Jammu: Panic was gripped on Monday afternoon when some unknown people threw grenades outside the district police line (DPL) which resulted in a police officer and a civilian who was injured in the Jammair and Kashmir Doda district.
The Doda district was declared a free militancy on June 29, 2020 after security forces neutralized the Hizb Commander who neutralized Masood aka Rahi in Anantang during a fierce meeting.
“Today, around 4:30 a night suspected terrorists threw a grenade attack on the private building opposite the District Police (DPL) of the district while two SOG (special operating group) J & K police Jawan was on duty,” said the source.
The source said that one of the SOG Jawan was injured in this grenade attack, he was immediately taken to the district hospital in Doda, his condition was declared harmless.
Meanwhile police, CRPF, SOG and Arma have conducted cordoned all areas and massive searches to track suspects involved in the area.
Confirming the attack, police said, “Some unknown people rolled grenades outside the DPL this afternoon.
Two people including Constable of Special Operation Group and civilians have suffered a minor injury.” Elimination of the Commander of the Hizbul Top Masood alias Rahi in an operation at a surgery Anantnag Jammu and Kashmir, along with two other terrorists Doda District was declared militanti free on June 29, 2020.
Referring to the Elimination of HM Commander (Rahi), J & K DGP Dilbagh Singh had claimed that day that with today’s operation at Khull Chohar Anannag by Anantnag police along with local RR units where two let terrorists include a district commander and an HM commander was improved.
Doda district in the Jammu zone became truly a militanti once again because the last Masood was still living terrorists from the Doda district.
“Terrorists who were killed, Masood, studied to grade 8 and took weapons in 2018, months after he was accused of relaxing under the age of Doda.
He went to escape since then and then joined Hezbul Mujahidin and shifted his operating area to Kashmir.
His brother Actually Farooq Ahmad was a terrorist in Pakistan since 1999.
