The police said the young men played cricket in the park adjacent to good compounds, managed by Noida authorities.
When a ball that was beaten by the Batsman cleaned the garden boundary and fell into the well, Sandeep (22), a worker in the Sector 11 area, entered the complex and climbed the stairs into the hole.
He fell unconscious soon after that.
Vishal (27), a supervisor at a private company in the 8 sector, also climbed the well to save Sandeep.
But he also fell unconscious.
When the two young men did not come out after a few minutes, Haider, an e-rickshaw driver waited for the passenger, entering the well.
Rakesh, a member of the cricket team, goes back.
Munish Chauhan, Police Station Sho of Sector 20, said they got a call at around 6:30 a.m.
“A police team rushed to a place along with fire fighting personnel.
It took 30 minutes to bring up four young men.
They rushed to the district hospital, where Sandeep and Vishal were declared dead on arrival.
The other two were referred to Safdarjung Hospital,” Add it.
The source said Sandeep, who deployed near the boundary wall, chasing the ball when entering the bah complex well.
He scaled the boundary wall and climbed the stairs to the well, some of being revealed.
“Visal went back to him.
When Sandeep shouted to ask for help, Vishal went down to the well to see what had happened.
But, both of them fell unconscious,” said Durgesh, the witness was the incident.
Jeevach Shanti, Brother-in-law Sandeep, said the authority of Noida had to keep its wells closed, showing that poison gas often came out of the waste lying inside.
RP Singh, an engineer in the Noida Authority, put aside errors in their parts.
He said the young men had scaled the 9ft wall to enter the complex and the pump operator had warned them not to be near the hole.
“But they ignored the warning and went down to the well.
It was Balram Singh, a pump operator, which pulled them with the help of the police and firefighting personnel,” he added.
Neha Sharma, additional CEO of authority, checked the place that day and directed officials to increase the height of the wall and iron fence around the well.
Additional DCP Ranvijay Singh says both the body has been sent for an autopsy and the report is awaited.
The police suspected that the young men might have drowned in wastewater after inhaling toxic gases and loss of consciousness.
So far, no family comes to a complaint hut.
