Jerusalem: Two Israeli officers were killed by an error by one of their own troops on Thursday, the military said, at their base on the West Bank.
Military statements provide several details about the incident on Wednesday, which according to Israel media involved the command unit in the Jordan Valley.
The report said the officers were quickly shot by a soldier who thought they were for Palestinian strikers after two warning shots shooting at the figure who was seen when patrolling at the end of the night training.
