Times News Network Kanpur: Two people including personal sleeping bus drivers were killed while 18 others were injured after crashing into a truck in Agra-Lucknow Expressway near the Timrua-Cut, between channels number 105 and 106 below the Saifai police boundaries in Etawah, on the night intervention Wednesday and Thursday.
The bus carrying around 65 passengers headed to Gonda through Lucknow from Delhi.
All those injured have been treated at Saifai Medical University in Etawah.
“The deceased has been identified as a Shukla dilip bus driver from Pratapgarh, and one Kishan Shukla from Gonda.
The second body of the deceased has been stored at Mourtuary of Saifai Medical University and their families have been told by the local police,” said Uteida RK Chandel security official.
Traffic in Agra-Lucknow was disturbed for almost two hours because of the accident.
Uttar Pradesh Expressways (Upeida) industry development personnel reached a place along with the local police and shifted injured to the hospital.
This route was removed by taking off the damaged bus from the accident site.
The vehicle moves with a slug speed from one route while Upteida personnel regulate traffic on the freeway.
Traffic was restored after the second path was cleaned.

CM has instructed ETawah DM, CMO and CMS to provide free care to injured.
