Noida: Two men were killed and as much as injured after a small transportation vehicle that went on with two bicycles where four traveled in the Dadri area, said the police on Saturday.
The vehicle driver, however, managed to accelerate.
The deceased has been identified as Faheemuddin and Azeem, while those who were injured were Rahisuddin and Kaale.
All four came from Bulandshahr and headed to Sikandarabad from Greater Noida on two bikes when the accident occurred around 7:00 on Friday.
“We got information about the accident at around 7pm on Friday.
The fourth immediately rushed to the hospital closest to the locals.
A police team reached the hospital, while the forensic team went to the accident site,” said a senior officer at the Dadri Police Station.
Faheemuddin was declared dead on arrival by a hospital doctor while Azeem died during treatment.
The other two are undergoing treatment but their condition is said to be critical, police said.
“The vehicle crashed into two bicycles near the CNG pump in Dadri.
We scan the CCTV area recording to identify the defendant’s driver,” the officer said.
The case below section 279 (rash driving) and 304 (a) (causing death from negligence) IPC has been registered with an unknown driver at the Dadri Police Station.
