Noida: the authority of the development of the Great Noida Industry (Gnida) on Thursday said that he had sentenced two group housing communities on waste management that was not right in their place.
The action was taken to the CEO of Gnida Narendra Bhoooshan against the Galaxy North Avenue and Victory One Amayra Society at Greater Noida (West) who had been slapped with Rs 40,400 and Rs 10,200, he said.
“The sentence was imposed by the Gnida Public Health Department.
During inspections, the team found waste not completely disposed of and violated the rules of waste management,” said the Public Health Department which was aired by Salil Yadav.
Officials have also warned that if the number of penalties is not sent in three working days, the penalty will multiply and the legal process will begin in these cases, he said.
The officer said the rules for solid waste management, 2016, apply in Greater Noida where bulk waste generators, such as group housing groups, educational institutions, etc., must dispose of trash itself.
Authority only takes inert waste that cannot be recycled and for that the specified cost must be paid, Yadav added.
