Dharamshala: Two people were reported missing in the Kangra District after the rain continuously caused flash floods in Dharamshala, told Nipun Jindal, Deputy Commissioner Kangra, Monday.
“We couldn’t say it was Cloudburst in Dharamshala but at first it was a case of flash flood due to heavy rain,” he said.

Due to heavy rain, the surface of the water in the Manjhi River ruined several shops and houses in the village of Chetru Dharamshala.
Sandeep Kumar, Vice President Gram Panchayat Bagsi in Kangra District said that there were at least 10 stores in the area who received severe damage.
“There are around 4-5 houses too, who are fully sinking.
The remaining people might also go down with the river,” he added.
Kumar further said that it was very rainy since 19:30 a.m.
on Monday.
A woman whose house sank into one of the few victims of natural disasters said there was no part of her remaining house.
“I have nothing.
There is no house, there is no clothes.
Even the vehicle drowned in flash floods,” he said.
Dharamshala Mla Vishal Nehria, who arrived in Chetru Village where flash flood caused damage, “because of natural disaster, there is a lot of damage in Dharamshala.
We visited affected places.
In the village and the Chetru shop sank in flash floods.” ” Some other officials also joined and we took a stock situation, “he added.
Mla further ensure that some of the types of relief will be given to people affected due to flash floods.
