Letter: Two members of Jhabua Gang who were allegedly involved in at least 18 cases of booty, home burglary and theft, arrested from Jalan Puna-Saroli in a letter on Monday night.
The defendant was identified as Khushal Kihori (23) and Shetan Sigadia (49), both Devka villagers in Jhabua Madhya Pradesh.
The duo was captured by the city crime branch after a tip-off.
The police also restored two gold chains, one motorcycle and two cellphones, a total of Rs 1.88 lakh.
According to the police, during the interrogation, the defendant admitted 18 crimes such as vehicle theft, home solving, Dako in cities such as letters, Navsari, Godhra, Dahod and Jhabua.
Duo is involved in criminal acts since 2012 and often visit City Letters.
The police said that after committing a crime, the defendant was used to return to their home village with stolen items and sell it there.
