Two men died of shortness of breath in dyeing

Coimbatore: Two men died of shortness of breath when cleaning the tank where the dyeing waste was stored in Veerapandi in the city of Tirupur on Sunday.
The police identified the deceased such as Vadivel, 32, daily wage workers from Kurupankuttai near Palavanjipalayam, and Unit Manager of Dinesh Pandian, 28.
Vadivel, Ramakrishnan, 50, Ramu, 32, and Nagaraj, 48, were cleaning two tanks at around 2:00 p.m.
in Kothukaduttam When Vadivel fell unconscious in the tank.
Dinesh Pandian and Electrician Rajendran, 55, entered the tank to save him.
However, they fainted too inside the tank.
When service personnel were assigned, fires and rescue from Tirupur South Station reached a point of around 3.40 in the afternoon.
While Rajendran was saved, Vadivel’s body and dinesh were taken from the tank.
Police Veerapandi registered a case against unit owner R Dhanalakshmi, 48, under various parts of the Indian criminal code, scheduled caste and scheduled tribes (prevention of cruelty) acting and prohibition of work as manual scavengers and their rehabilitation actions and arrested Dhanalakshmi.
