Coimbatore: Coimbatore Forest Division Officer has arrested two men to boil three monitor lizards in Tholampalayam East Beat.
The people who were arrested have been identified as K Rajendran, 41, and K Mani, 42.
Both of them come from Samakkal Nagar in Bilichi Goudanur Village.
The team led by Forester K Muthu from Thadagam’s reserve forest was spinning on October 5 night.
They found two men involved in the hunt for monitor lizards.
The duo escaped without taking the carcass of three monitor lizards and snares.
Officials won the carcass and snare.
Special team secured two hunters on Wednesday night.
The duo was questioned by Periyanacenickepalayam Forest Range Officer S Selvaraj.
Two hunters claimed to commit crimes.
Officials grabbed the sickle of them.
