Thiruvananthapuram: Vithura police on Monday arrested two young men on charges of two little girls who abused sexually.
According to the police, the youth guided the little girls for the persecution by threatening to kill them.
The people arrested were identified as Vinod, 32, a resident of Peppara and Sarath, 23, a resident of Charuvila, Adiyamon near Kilimanoor.
One of the accused is a mother’s acquaintance.
He will often visit their homes and threaten the girls if they tell anyone about harassment, they will be killed.
He initially persecuted the 16-year-old girl and then beat her sister, a 14-year-old girl for sexual harassment.
Materber Vinod brought his friend Sarath to the girl’s house and persecuted them.
Parents of girls and Vinod work together on rubber plantations in Nagaroor.
Girls suffered sexual harassment in Vithura and at the house rented from the defendant in Nagaroor.Two a few days ago, Vinod brought one of the girls to rented houses in Nagaroor.
When parents know about this problem, they reach the house.
Vinod then locked the girl inside the house and he escaped from the place.
The girl was then saved by parents.
They immediately filed a complaint to the police and a case listed under Pocso and Juvenile Justice Law.
Vinod was arrested from his friend’s house and the second defendant was held from the coing.
Children are served before CWC for counseling and for safe accommodation.
Vithura Inspector Police S Sreejith, Sudheesh, Sauju ASI, Senior Pradeep Civil Police Officer, Sarath Police officer, Jazeel, Javad and Hasheem are part of the police team who arrested the defendant.
