Goranghpur: Police on Tuesday arrested two more police officers who wanted to regard to the death of Manish Gupta, the Kanpur Pebis was allegedly beaten to death by Gorakhpur police in a hotel.
The two police fled because the police had registered a murder case in connection with the incident.
They each carry a cash prize of Lakh Lakh.
Those who were arrested include sub-sensors Rahul Dubey and Constable Prashant Kumar.
They were arrested from Gorakhpur.
“They were arrested by Gorakhpur police on Tuesday when they planned to surrender in court,” SP City Sonam Kumar was confirmed to TOI.
Two days of my back, the police also arrested the main allegations of the case, the inspector suspended JN Singh and Sub-Inspector Akshay Mishra and they also brought Rs 1 lakh with each.
The Kanpur Police Special Investigation Team, who investigated this case, has named six police officers as a defendant and announced a prize of Rs 1 Lakh.
