Thiruvananthapuram: The Pothencode police have arrested two more men who wanted in connection with the kidnapping and attack of a 60-year-old man in Pallinada.
The police identified the defendant as Abdul Shukkoor, 63, from Plajoodu near Pothencode and Manoj, 41, from the Chotbor near Attingal.
The police had previously arrested three people in connection with this case.
This case is related to the kidnapping and attack of Naseem, 60, Pallinada on February 8.
Naseem is a restaurant staff in Nannatukavu.
A male gang kidnapped him and took him to a blank plot in Kuttiyani and beat him brutally.
Shukkoor has cash worth Rs 30,000 to the last Naseem failed to pay on time.
This is the reason why he ordered a gang to attack the complainant.
