Thiruvananthapuram: Two more people who were positively tested for the Zika virus in Kerala, took the total number of infection cases reported to 46, where five were active.
A 42-year-old woman from Kumarapuram in Thiruvananthapuram and a 30-year-old woman from Kottarakkara in Kollam was the people who tested the virus positive, said the release of the state government.
The virus was confirmed in the test carried out in the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College virology lab.
None of the infected patients had been hospitalized and they were all stable, said release.
