Two more surrender to Covid, 98% nudging recovery rate

Panaji: The victim of Covid-19 Goa rose to 3,375 on Saturday after two more people gave up on infection.
The country recorded 23 new infections on Saturday, with 2,705 samples tested.
New infections remain below 50-mark for three weeks now.
Active cases have also been under 300 for sixth consecutive day.
During the last week of November 6-12, the level of southern cave’s front rushed below 1%, to 0.76%.
North Goa is slightly higher, at 1.76%.
One of the two mortality of the day, a 68-year-old child who has hypertension and tested positive on the day he admitted, died in 24 hours after entering.
He has symptoms eight days earlier.
The second death was a 65-year-old woman from Sindhudurg, who died after 25 days in the hospital.
He experienced obesity and also suffered from type-2 diabetes.
He tested positively on the day he admitted, and complained of symptoms four days before that.
In North Goa and South Goa, 59% and 60% of each positive case are detected through rapid antigen testing, and the rest through RT-PCR tests.
Meanwhile, four more people were treated at the hospital, and 18 chose to house isolation.
Two were repatriated, and 36 recovered for the past 24 hours, the recovery rate rose to 97.96%.
