Two Mumbai Police Died of Covid-19 Within 48 Hours

Mumbai: A Sub-Inspector’s Assistant Mahendra Singh Bhati (57) with the motor vehicle department in Nagada is the second to die Covid-19 on Saturday, taking the death toll to 125 in Mumbai Police.
In the past eight days, a total of 523 police personnel were infected.

“Bhati rushed to Lilavati Hospital after she complained of chest pain around 3am on Saturday.
He died about 5.12 in the morning,” said a police officer.
Bhati is a retirement from police forces on April 30.
The Covid report showed that a total of 161 infected personnel for the first time in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, a total of 34 infected personnel more than once.
Of the total of 40,713 police personnel at Mumbai police, 39,086 of them were vaccinated with the first dose while the total 35,697 had been fully vaccinated.
Only 4 percent (1,628) and 12.32 percent (5,070) were each to get the first and second jab.
