Kolkata: Two mysterious deaths, someone suspected of being a murder, reported in the city early on Tuesday morning.
Building Contractors, Mukesh Shaw (43), were found dead at his residence in Park Sonali, Bansdroni, hours after he returned from the wedding ceremony.
The police said he was found dead by his sister Sanjay around 6.40 in the morning.
Mukesh was found facing down, lying down on the floor with a helicopter in his hand.
He had a deep injury in his neck and shoulder.
The police claimed the way the blood flow had made them suspect playing rotten.
“Prima facie, it looks more like murder.
The wound does not support self influsion.
However, we are waiting for the initial postmortem report,” said DC (SSD) Rashid Munir Khan.
In another incident, Sumanta Ghosh (37), a manager who worked for online travel sites, was found dead of around 7.05 in the morning on the sidewalk in front of a guest house in Rajani Sen Road, where he checked in to evaluate it on behalf of his company.
CCTV footage shows he has fallen from the top four-story building.
