Two Naxalit Arrested in Rally Gadchiroli Protest

Nagpur: The police arrested two Naxalists who participated in the general meeting of the mining project at Ettapalli Taluka from Gadchiroli Regency, an official said on Thursday.
The villagers have organized a rally to protest the Surjagarh mining project in Etapalli on Tuesday, a declared release.
The Gadchiroli police have received a tip-off that some Naxalists joined the rally, after several plain clothing personnel from the special operating squad were deployed to capture ultras.
The police arrested members of the Young Action Team of Zohi (32) and Jan Militia Members of Mitu Dorpeti during the rally, the release was stated.
According to the police, Zohi was a resident of Gorgutta Village, which is located at the AOP (AOP) GATTA Jambia armed post limit.
Ultra who was arrested allegedly involved in three meetings over the past two years, and was recruited in the GATTA local organization forces from CPI (Maois) as party members.
Dorpeti, a resident of Bodmeta in Etapalli, allegedly killed a man on September 18 and was also involved in the attack on AOP GATTA (Jambia) on May 11, the broadcast said.
The cadres who were arrested had each RS2 Lakh gift in their heads, was stated.
Gadchiroli Police Ankit Goyal Inspector has intensified anti-naxalite operations in the district and has appealed to active cadres to leave the violence.
