Jammu: Two newly recruited terrorists affiliated with Hizbul Mujahidin clothing which were banned were arrested in Kiswar Jammu and Kashmir district on Monday, officials said.
Yasir Hussain and Usman Qadir, both Dachhan residents, were arrested along with several arms and ammunition during search operations from the Kalaingassu area, a police officer said.
He said they were missing from their homes on August 5 and two days later they were studied that they had joined the terror group Hezbul Mujahidin.
The case under an activity that violated the law (prevention) of the law was registered at the Dachhan Police Station, the official said.
He said information that could be trusted was received on Sunday about their presence in Tander and therefore, the police along with the army and CRPF launched a joint operation that caused their arrest.
The search operation in the area is still on and the further details are waiting for, the official said.
