Two passengers fled after testing positive covid, then traced

Jamshedpur: Two passengers who came with an intercity agency on Tuesday were tested positive during a regular Covid-19 test, but managed to escape.
As per the guideline, passengers who test positively stored in the isolation bed regulated by administration in this district.
The team from the health department escorted them to the hospital in the ambulance.
When officials could not find it at the station, they were called on their cellphones, which were turned off.
A team was sent to the address provided by two passengers, one other man and woman.
Their location is tracked in Sonari and Sakchi.
Duo was found at each other’s address and then shifted to the hospital by officials.
DR Sahir Pal District Supervision Officer said such negligence could spread the disease, so that people had to cooperate with administration and health officials.
He said those who tested positively had to isolate themselves immediately, it would ensure the security of their family members too.
On Tuesday, 3,266 people were tested, where five were found positive.
At present, there are 23 active cases in this district.
On Tuesday, 11,294 was attached here.
